These hiking socks feature a soft merino wool outer surface knitted directly to a moisture-repelling polypropylene inner surface. This construction gives you the benefits of a layered two-sock system, without the bunching and friction of separate socks.
With no gap between layers to cross, the moisture moving efficiency of the polypropylene is improved. Stretch nylon and spandex keep the socks up and create a snug, pressure-minimizing and blister-reducing fit.
