An alpine pack that can be loaded up or stripped down according to the mission at hand. To pare back the weight, take out the back panel and remove the hipbelt and lid. The stripped-back version weighs about half a kilo, carries enough gear for a night or two, and it's streamlined enough to get through slots and squeeze chimneys.
