With two "floating" lasso loops, this cable lock lets you secure even paddlecraft without U-bolts.
Slip one end of the cable around a thwart, seat support or other fixture on your boat, then through the open metal eye to form a closed loop. Then run the end around your roof rack, a tree at the put-in or take-out, or what have you. Thread it through the second eye, lock it, and you're good to go, since your boat is good to stay.
