Because not all days in the alpine are bluebird, these pants are designed for wide-ranging weather conditions. The hybrid design uses flexible soft shell fabric with hard shell panels on the lower legs for skinning up without wetting out when the snowpack is deep. The design allows you to keep moving and stay protected, without overheating. Side zippers provide venting options when you're tackling considerable elevation and moving through temperature inversions.
